Savvie

Savvie is a wandering mechanic/salvager who uses their wits to get by in their day-to-day. With little money and no home, they have to find ways to make ends meet, whether that's by recovering and selling scrap or doing oddjobs given by other people. However, it's a tough world out there and sometimes the honest work isn't good enough, so every so often they'll go out to "borrow" a bit from people who are doing much better off than them. They try not to do it often, or to people who are also struggling, but it's gotten them in a bit of trouble as a result of getting caught a few times. Most don't trust them now, and its part of the reason why they don't live among other people and just keep to themself.

They're a happy-go-lucky type of person and tend to live their life one day at a time. They've never really thought much about their future and tend to not dwell on things from the past, they'd much rather live in the moment and keep moving forward. Because of this, Sav can be a bit of an impulsive person, the type to sometimes not look before they leap. Their impusliveness has led them to making a ton of mistakes, whether its multiple failed experiments from tinkering with machines, or failed attempts at connecting with people; but the mistakes they make is also what makes them so bright.

Savvie's life changes one day when they're tasked with doing an oddjob involving taking something they should not have tampered with. While on the run, they bump into a street magician, a young man named Gimmick. He helps Savvie get to safety, and in return Sav decided to bring him along with them. Together, the two set off on an unexpected journey.
